Rory O'More

Irish rebel, Chieftain of the Ó Mórdha sept. Led many campaigns against crown rule in Ireland. Son Eoghan mac Ruairí Ó Mórdha also continuing the fight after his father's death in 1578. One of serveral famous rebels to bear the name, his nephew Col. Rory O'Moore was one of the principal organizers of the 1641 Irish rebellion
